The Prince Edward Family Health Team (PEFHT) is one of 200 Family Health Teams across Ontario, which opened as part of an Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care initiative aimed at improving access to primary health care professionals in Ontario.  Our family health team provides a single point of access to health care services for all County residents.  Our interdisciplinary care teams offer comprehensive patient-centred, primary health care including disease diagnosis, treatment and management, prevention and cure, rehabilitation, palliative care and community health promotion.
