Temporary Pfizer Shortage?

Q: I've heard on the news that there is a Pfizer shortage, will that affect us?

A:  Yes, our next few clinics will be stocked primarily with the Moderna vaccine.  Hopefully everyone has also seen the news that the Moderna vaccine is performing well and can be given as a booster after any combination of primary doses. A small supply of Pfizer will be reserved for people aged 12 to 30 due to the higher risk of myocarditis with Moderna in this age group.  People over 30 who do not wish to receive the Moderna vaccine are invited to wait and re-book later in January. Pediatric Pfizer is still available for age 5-11.
