Exteme Heat Warming - Cooling Centre available at Harbourview Clinic
Environment Canada issued an Extreme Heat Warning, with highs of 45C, with the humidex throughout the week, June 17 - 21
For our patients who do not have air conditioning where they live or access to cool spaces, our waiting room at Harbourview will open as a cooling centre from Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21 (9am to 4pm each day).
This will allow some of our most vulnerable patients access to a cooler environment throughout the day, ensuring their wellness and preventing any heat-related illnesses.
