Across the spectrum of health and social services, many have recognized the need for complex and collaborative responses across multiple sectors in responding to the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community. So many factors contribute to the health and wellbeing of individuals: mental health, income, housing, education, etc. No one organization or sector can address these issues in a comprehensive fashion. Recent developments in Police services and health care, for example, have gleaned positive outcomes and show lots of potential for a new way of working together to provide the best possible outcomes.
