Bake for Hospice a HUGE Success raised over $1,100.00 for Hospice Prince Edward

With all oven-mitted hands on deck we have completed our 3rd annual Bake for Hospice.

Pie lined tables and dessert filled boxes were sold at a record speed.

Thanks to everyone at PEFHT who used their amazing culinary skills late into the night and also early Thursday morning to make this happen. Donna Frost, a supporter of this event and Hospice Prince Edward, not only donated her beautifully decorated Easter treats but the two throws for the raffle.
Carrie Oliver was the first raffle winner and chose the John Deere throw. Mary Stever won the Disney princess throw. Congratulations to them both! That portion of the fundraiser raised $187.00

Special thanks to Pat McClennon who organized so much of the day! She had approached The Pastry House who generously donated the pie boxes again this year. Thanks also go out to the Hospice Prince Edward Volunteers, Judy Fraser and Fran Renoy, who joyfully came early to assist wherever possible, Fran was also the top buyer of the day. She promised it was for her friends & family and I hope it is for her health's sake! I told her we may need to call an intervention!!
With all that being said, it would not have been the success that it was without your financial support. We are very grateful for your fuller waist lines and lighter pocket books.

We are all a part of the Hospice Prince Edward community and are proud to say that all totalled we raised over $1,100.00 with money still trickling in.

Splendid job everyone and Happy Easter!!
