OTN Nursing Star Award Congratulations!! Bev Putnam: Opening Doors to Opportunity through Compassion & Commitment

Bev Putnam

Bev provides nursing support for OTN's Telepsychiatry and Telederm programs, endocrinology and the successful and popular Mindfulness Medication for Chronic Pain program across Prince Edward County and beyond. These programs continue to expand as does her role as coordinator and support nurse. Bev has built strong and meaningful relationships with telemedicine coordinators, consultants, clinicians and health care providers and has played an integral role introducing a relatively new mode of health care delivery to patients and health care professionals alike. Bev also accepts requests from health care professionals across the province to have their patients seen by OTN services, and is always looking for new opportunities for consultants that benefit the needs of the organization and the needs of patients.

Bev welcomes the use of new technology and manages the workload for three sites spread out between Rossmore, Wellington and Picton in Prince Edward County as well as another Family Health Team. Bev's dedication, commitment and compassion has impacted the efficiency and quality of OTN's services which have been adopted with enthusiasm in Ontario's remote and rural landscape.

Congratulations Bev!
