World Diabetes Day November is Diabetes Awareness Month and today marks World Diabetes Day! 90% of Canadians with Diabetes have Type 2 diabetes, and it's estimated that about two million people don't know they have the disease... yet. Registered Nurse Christina Hoye, of the Diabetes Clinic with the Prince Edward Family Health Team will discuss how the disease is developed, the risk factors, how to prevent it and more.  Thanks to 99.3 County FM for helping us share information!
