Family Medicine Residency

The Prince Edward Family Health Team works in partnership with Queen's University School of Medicine to provide a community family medicine rotation of 2 to 4 months duration.

Twelve of our 22 physicians are currently involved in training Medical Residents. This makes it possible to train approximately 20 Medical Residents per year.

A rotation with the Prince Edward Family Health Team provides exposure to inter-professional, collaborative, rural primary health care, and emergency care at QHC- Prince Edward County Memorial.

Those interested in a community family medicine rotation with the Prince Edward Family Health Team can make arrangements through the Department of Family Medicine at Queen's University.
