Sharing the news about a growing financial empowerment program at the Prince Edward Learning Centre.....

WHAT: Free tax filing for individuals and families with low incomes; and "benefit screening" to help folks to know about and access any benefits and services that they might be eligible for.

WHEN: Beginning in early March. Please see attached document for a list of dates and locations.

WHERE: Clinics will be held at Prince Edward Learning Centre and at Consecon and Wellington Public Libraries.

WHY: This is a vital anti-poverty strategy that will help individuals and families in PEC to get access to the financial and community supports they need and are entitled to.

WHO: Prince Edward Learning Centre in partnership with The Poverty Round Table and the United Way are training volunteers to staff clinics.
