Get connected to health care 24/7

Access safe, high-quality care and avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency room. This service is an easy way to get connected to care you or your loved ones need, but it does not replace your other touch point with your health care provider. In a medical emergency call 911 immediately.

Call 811 (TTY:1-866-797-0007) to  reach a registered nurse,  available to speak with you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Assistance is offered in English, French and other languages. 811 is a free, secure and confidential health care service available to all Ontarians.

When you call 811, your call will be received by an advisor who will securely and confidentially collect basic information and the reason for your call. You will then be transferred to a registered nurse who will complete a virtual triage assessment and advise you of next steps.

Visit Health Connect Ontario or call 1-800-445-1822 to register for a family physician or nurse practitioner
